1. Exfoliate Your Skin

Use a gentle exfoliating scrub or mitt to remove dead skin cells. Pay special attention to rough areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and feet.
Avoid oil-based exfoliators as they can leave a residue that may prevent the tanning solution from adhering properly.
2. Shave or Wax

Shaving or waxing should be done a day before your spray tan to allow your pores time to close and to prevent irritation.
If you need to shave on the day of your tan, do it at least 4-6 hours before your appointment and use a new razor to avoid any residue.
